20th Annual Riverside Rest Home Fondest Wish

This fund is designed to grant wishes of Riverside residents for an activity or item that they do not have the resources to acquire on their own.

We are a fully accredited Medicaid facility and as a Medicaid recipient,
residents are only allowed $74.00 per month for personal allowance.

All money raised by the event goes directly to the residents that reside at Riverside Rest Home.

Since our start, we have raised $190,000 thanks to our dedicated partners and participants. We would love to have your business represented among our partners for 2025.

While a number of residents have been beneficiaries of the Fondest Wish, a few of our highlights include;
• Wedding ceremony and reception for resident family and friends
• Provided each Nursing Unit their Holiday Party Meal & Holiday themed shirts
• Art Supplies for a former photographer that wished to learn to paint
• Trip for a resident to attend a family reunion & lobster feast
• Deep sea fishing for a resident and family
• Sponsored the Kana Ice truck and Magician for Carnival Day with the United Way
• Vision impaired telephone for a resident
• Big and Tall recliner for a resident and much more!
